Hard driving traditional and original bluegrass!
Here's what people are saying about Blue Spruce:
-
"I can't recommend this band highly enough. They played for a crawdad boil I was in charge of and the 200 people in attendance were thoroughly entertained. The mix of original tunes and familiar standards was right on the money. Barb's endearing and musical vocals were offset beautifully by the overall solid technique of the instrumentalists. There was the expected showmanship and joking with the crowd that one would expect at a party, but this never happened at the expense of playing great bluegrass. Pass up Blue Spruce and you will be sorry!"
—Frank J. Owens, President, Randy Carter Chapter, Float Fishermen of Virginia -
"We really appreciate that you came to play for our pig roast. I LOVE live music and just wish I could have sat and listened during your entire performance! You really made the party a great success, and I hope you can join us next year. :-)
"I will certainly pass your information to anyone looking for a band!!"

"Blue Spruce is a total ear popping delight. All bluegrass is, but Barb Diederich and her band Blue Spruce are a refreshing icon in the bluegrass community. She and her group perform at the American Legion Wheaton Post 268 whenever we can schedule them. Blue Spruce played once and I was deluged with requests to 'Please book these folks again!!!!' Her mix of bluegrass talent is just beyond adjectives. It follows the line, 'You name it and they play or do it!!!!!' The Birchmere doesn't know what they're missing and fortunately the Wheaton American Legion is reaping all the enjoyment. I recommend them without any reservations - you won't be disappointed!!"

"My 50th birthday party was wonderful in every way but what made it especially memorable was live traditional bluegrass music from the Blue Spruce Band! Barb and the team provided the event with an authentically magical and musical quality. I can't say enough about their talent, musicianship, and professionalism. Thanks so much!"
